Composer Morton Subotnick, a pioneer in electronic and interactive computer music systems, built it from the ground up with the idea of making a completely interactive musical playroom. The Central Composition Space: Enter notes by drawing on the screen. Then you can duplicate them, turn them upside down and backwards, or change the scale. Choose any of sixteen instruments the way real composers do.
Melody & Rhythm Maker: Create melodies and rhythms; hear how they sound separately and together.
Building Blocks: Listen to six sample tunes to learn about structure and repetition, then mix them up and make your own.
Flip Book: Combine three elements melody, rhythm, and instrumentation from a musical flipbook.
Games: From novice to maestro these games can even be played using your compositions!
