The Delite Series features Sonor’s VMS Vintage Maple Shells for extraordinary resonance and sound quality. Only select Rock Maple is used for these shells, which are made according to the CLTF Cross Laminated Tension Free method. Delite VMS shells come with only 4.2 mm thickness plus 2.1 mm for the Dynamic Edge, which gives extra strength and perfect roundness. Bass drum shells come in 6.2 mm thickness with 2.1 mm Dynamic Edge thickness. These extremely thin shells give the drums a very open sound character with a wide dynamic range. All drums have Sonor’s T.A.R. Total Acoustic Resonance System for better acoustic resonance and sound projection. Apart from their tonal qualities the Delite drums come in a selection of 7 spectacular lacquer finishes, from Birdseye Amber to Platinum Fade.

• Pre-muffled Bass Drum Heads: Perfect, punchy sound: With pre-muffled Sonor bass drum heads you get a great bass drum sound without elaborate tuning or muffling. All drumheads made by REMO USA
• AX Ball Clamp System: This mounting system allows flexibility when finding the right individual playing position and secure hold due to its unique clamp mechanism.
• Bass Drum Spurs: Bass drum spurs can be converted from rubber to metal to give perfect hold on any type of floor.
• Prism Mounting System: The heavy duty prism clamps on bass drum spurs, floor tom legs, and at the T.A.R. tom holder ensure great reliability even under heavy use.
• Delite Series CLTF Shells: 6-ply vintage maple shells with dynamic edge rims made with the CLTF method. The Cross Laminated Tension Free – CLTF – Process ensures the cross lamination of the separate wood plies when making Sonor drum shells.
• T.A.R. Tom Mounting System: Delite Series toms are equipped standard with the T.A.R. (Total Acoustic Resonance) tom holder system for vibration free resonance quality.
