"They come in 4 variations. Either in rosewood (inner and outer veneer) or mahogany (outer only.) The Veneers are 3 ply, so they actually become a tone wood. They are true to old spec, except we used a designer throw off, which is smoother than the old phonic style. These are some of the best snare you have EVER heard! If my wife wouldn’t kill me, I’d pick one up."
